So my dad took me to the airport Friday afternoon. Even though he didn't have a ticket he was able to get through security with me. All he had to do was ask Continental for a fake boarding pass, all I had to do was stand there and look in-capable of walking to the gate by myself. :)
We had lunch at Gallagher's Steak House in the airport as per the usual before Israel routine. I got a cheese burger because such things are pretty much impossible to find in Israel. You can definitely find a burger at one restaurant and you can definitely find cheese at another restaurant but never together at the same time. unbelievable. Here is my last burger for 2 months (unless they have these in Thailand but... yikes)
So after lunch and drinks Dad left and I got my first real feeling that I am going by myself to Israel. haha
Anyway, after going through the second security checkpoint at the gate, I got right on the plane. See you in 10.5 hours!
